Amazon's Global Logistics Exports Supply Chain Design team is seeking a Supply Chain Manager II to drive innovative cross-border transportation solutions. In this role, you will integrate third-party carriers into Amazon's network, collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical requirements, and oversee Supply Chain design & carrier launch projects end-to-end.

Key job responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end carrier onboarding and deployment projects
  • Launch and ramp up new supply chain solutions
  • Monitor performance metrics and communicate project status to leadership
  • Stabilize operations and transition programs to operational teams
  • Create and execute detailed project plans, ensuring adequate testing throughout
  • Analyze data using tools like Excel and SQL to assess performance and highlight improvements
  • Collaborate with technical, non-technical, and operations teams to gather requirements and establish project scope

A day in the life

You'll start your day reviewing program metrics and addressing any operational challenges that arose. Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with teams across the globe, from tech partners to logistics providers. You'll lead project meetings, analyze performance data, and work on process improvements. You might develop a new reporting dashboard, strategize with stakeholders on program enhancements, or create executive presentations highlighting program achievements and opportunities.

Global Logistics Exports team, will optimize the cross-border transportation network used in post-order fulfillment, and ensure that every customer experience is an excellent one. Our team leverages logistics providers and internal Amazon supply chain solutions to increase selection and lower costs for our customers. Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
  • 2+ years of program or project management experience
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
  • Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SQL at an intermediate level, including: compile queries, subqueries, aggregation/grouping, data modification, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of supply chain experience
  • Experience in leading large, cross functional projects
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
