Job Title: Full-Time Household Cook
Location: Blue Bell, PA
Salary: Dependent on Experience (DOE)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Full-Time Household Cook to join a private household in Blue Bell, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a discerning VIP 1 or VIP 2, as well as for a small team of 3-5 staff members. The cook should have a strong passion for culinary arts, with a particular emphasis on Korean home-style cuisine (preferred but not required). This role requires an individual who is reliable, discreet, and able to maintain a high level of professionalism and hygiene at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus for a VIP individual(s) and up to 5 staff members.
• Plan, prepare, and execute well-balanced, flavorful, and high-quality meals in line with dietary preferences, restrictions, and overall health goals.
• Incorporate a variety of culinary styles, with a strong preference for Korean home-style dishes.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen, ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Work closely with the household to accommodate specific meal requests and preferences.
• Maintain proper food inventory, and order ingredients as necessary.
• Adapt menus based on seasonal ingredients and ensure freshness in all meals prepared.
• Respond positively to feedback and make adjustments as needed to meet high standards of service.
• Ensure that all kitchen equipment and appliances are well-maintained and in good working order.
• Provide an exceptional level of service, always upholding discretion and confidentiality in the household.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a professional or household kitchen setting.
• Strong culinary skills, with a particular emphasis on Korean home-style cuisine (preferred).
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Highly reliable, discreet, and trustworthy.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a home kitchen.
• A passion for food and a commitment to excellence in every meal served.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing schedules and dietary needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to take feedback constructively.
