Hand Tools: Having the ability to use hand tools and use schematics to assemble parts consistently and with low rate of error is paramount to success **Job Description:** - Lead and execute complex assembly tasks, including those requiring advanced mechanical assembly of components and subassemblies. - Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and specifications to ensure the correct assembly of components. - Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve issues in assembly processes and product functionality. - Coach and train lower-level assemblers, providing guidance and mentoring on techniques, safety procedures, and quality standards. - Ensure that the team is adhering to all safety and regulatory compliance standards. - Continuously review and recommend improvements to assembly processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste. - Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other departments to resolve design or manufacturing issues. - Perform final quality inspections and testing to ensure that the assembled products meet company standards and specifications. - Maintain inventory of parts and materials required for assembly and ensure that stock is kept at optimal levels. - Assist with the setup, calibration, and operation of automated or semi-automated equipment used in the assembly process. - Follow lean manufacturing guidelines, providing continuous improvement suggestions for gained efficiency **Additional Skills & Qualifications** - At least 3-5 years of experience in assembly or manufacturing roles, with experience in leadership or team supervision. - Expertise in reading and interpreting complex technical documents, including engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications. - Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to train and mentor junior team members and contribute to team development. - Strong knowledge of quality control processes and manufacturing best practices. **WORK ENVIRONMENT:** ADA Physical/Mental/Workplace Requirements - Able to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. - Able to stand; walk; stoop, kneel or crouch, as required. - Able to climb portable ladder **\#AeroJobsXNRGY** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
