Hours: 7:00a - 3:30p

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to the Coordinator of designated area of Cardiovascular Center for maintaining patient flow, design of exercise parameters and maintenance of overall safety of patient during exercise / testing sessions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

  • Master of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology and/or other Allied Health related degree required
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification) required within six months of hire
  • CPR / BLS certificate for Health Care Providers required
  • A minimum of 6 months clinical cardiovascular experience or equivalent internship.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

  • ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) Exercise Specialist Certification desired
  • Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist (RCEP) or AACVPR (American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (CCRP)
  • Certified Cardiac Rehab Professional desired
